Prepared Childbirth
The one class you need for Childbirth
Education. The class covers all aspects of pregnancy, labor and
birth. Signs and stages of labor, when to go to the hospital, what to
bring and the stages of labor will be covered.
This class focuses on information, but is made to keep the couple comfortable,
and interested. Comfort measures, including pain management will be
discussed, as will creating positive communication with your care
provider.
We will help prepare you for epidural anesthesia as well as natural coping
methods, although not as in detail as our Natural Childbirth Education class.
Handouts are available, as well as a pocket guide for coaches/partners.
The class is set up for both pregnant mom and partner or coach. Classes are led by an experienced Certified Childbirth Educator. Class is a one-day format from 9:30 - 4:45 pm. $100.80 for members ($112 non-members).
