What will it be like when the baby arrives?
You've got all the gear, you've read about going through the labor, now what? We're here to help! Our Newborn Basics workshop is an interactive session of what to expect the first six weeks of your baby's life. We'll cover basics like diapering, feeding and safety, as well as ways to keep your baby happy. This is a great opportunity to ask questions and get a glimpse of what to expect. We will cover how to be connected, how to read your baby's cues and most of all, how to enjoy the first precious weeks at home.
We'll practice diapering, bathing, burp and colic holds, umbilical and circumcision care, techniques to help sooth a crying baby, temperature taking and when your health care provider should be notified. We'll also talk about how to get birth certificates and car seat installation. We will boost your confidence, and prepare you for your new baby.
What about Mom? Our moms aren't forgotten in this class. There's a lot of things that happen to a women's body after their baby is born. We'll prepare you for what others forget (or don't want) to mention.
Now, more than ever, we are here to help you learn everything you need to know to get through the first six weeks at home!
$75.00 is per couple. Class is approximately 2 hours.
April 13th 5:00 - 7:00 pm

This newborn basics class was awesome! I am a soon to be mom of twins, my first babies and I very little baby experience. The teacher walked us through a ton of important basics, was super patient with our questions, and was extremely well prepared and knowledgeable. She even knew a lot of the best products out there so we could ask questions about our registries too. It was so comforting and relieving to have someone give you straight forward answers on the spot. I would definitely recommend this class if you're feeling less than confident/inexperienced or even if you just need a quick refresher!!
I loved this class so much. The instructor was so down to earth and really made the class enjoyable. I learned a lot, I had so many notes to reference when I got home. I loved the open environment, no judgement, the emphasis on doing what is best for you and baby. I wish I had taken/signed up for all my classes at Bellani!
