Studies have shown that when doulas attend birth, labors are shorter with fewer complications, babies are healthier and they breastfeeding more easily. Here are several doulas listed that serve RI. It is important to choose a doula you are comfortable with, so we recommend interviewing 2 - 3 doulas to find the one that best fits your goals.
