Baby Food Making Workshops

For the past 4-6 months, you've been busy becoming an expert parent - diaper changes,formula, breastfeeding, teething, colic - you name it, you've met it head on. Just when you thought you were a pro, it's time to introduce solid foods! Don't panic we've got you covered. We have a series of baby food making workshops geared at specific age groups to help you make feeding baby smooth sailing.

Each class is an hour and a half power packed session filled with demonstrations, coupons, recipes, and a Q&A session full of baby food making knowledge. The cost for each session is $20 per person, $15 for members.

Baby Food Making Basics Geared towards babies 0-6 months, we'll discuss what flavors you should introduce before the one year mark, how to prepare meats, best options for cooking preparation and storage and how to make your basic puree.

Beyond Avocado Your baby is ready to move beyond your basic puree; they want texture! This usually occurs between 6-12 months and includes the introduction of finger foods. We'll talk about your child's nutritional needs, what finger foods to introduce and how frequently you should be feeding your child.

Toddler Tips Perhaps your child who once devoured everything in front of them is now boycotting anything green. Or maybe you've hit a rut in the kitchen; you can make a mean puree but now what? In our Toddler Tips Workshop, we'll discuss options for how to encourage healthy eating, the nutritional needs of your growing toddler and even how to get "sneaky". Your child is growing and we're hoping this workshop will help to grow your menu of meal time options.
